Crane Community Trails
The Crane Community Trails are now open and ready for your enjoyment.

The Crane Community Trails consist of 4 areas;
The City Park trails and sidewalks – This area is made up of concrete sidewalks that meander through the City park.
The Ballfield Trail – This 1-kilometer (3245 feet) trail is compacted gravel surface that makes for easy and level walking with no ascends or obstacles. This trail circles the various ballfields.
The Outer Trail – This 2.4-kilomter (7853 feet) trail is located by Crane’s wastewater treatment plant and consists of compacted gravel surface that is mostly level with a few mild to moderate ascends. This trail runs within the old railroad bed and along Crane Creek.
The Inner Trail – This 1-kilometer (3232 feet) trail is located inside the Outer Trail and is easy walking with one mild ascend.

Parks, Trails and Open Space Etiquette
• Crane Community Trails are for non-motorized use ONLY.
• Trails are open from Sunrise to Sunset.
• Keep bikes under control and at a safe speed.
• Bikes must yield the right-of-way to other trail users.
• Dogs should be leashed at all times and waste picked up.
• Be respectful of residential neighborhoods and mind noise levels.
• Clean up any trash and recyclables, and place in designated bins.
• Do not harass wildlife.
• Keep out of native and sensitive areas, stick to designated trails.
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

The Crane Community Trails are funded in part by a grant from the US Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration through the guidance of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
